Michael Pugliese is a Partner in CrossCountry’s Business Transformation practice, focused on the Financial Services Industry. He has more than 30 years of Industry and Consulting experience delivering Business Transformation to the office of the CFO, CRO and CCO. He has specific expertise in the areas of financial and management reporting, planning and forecasting, risk adjusted profitability, and regulatory compliance. He joined CrossCountry in 2023 after spending time at Capco, BearingPoint and Citibank. He was also recognized by Consulting Magazine as a Top 25 Consultant for Excellence in Leadership.

Denise Dombay joined FINRA in June 2020 as the Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive. FINRA is the non-profit regulator authorized by Congress to protect America’s investors by making sure the broker-dealer industry operates fairly and honestly. In her role, she leads the organization’s Internal Audit function, which reports directly to the Audit & Risk Committee of the Board of Governors and provides assurance regarding FINRA’s internal control environment. Denise is also a member of FINRA’s Diversity Leadership Council.

Denise has over 30 years of experience in corporate audit and client service positions. She started her career in client services, as an audit partner at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, serving public and private companies in the DC area. While at Andersen and EY she was actively engaged in the development and operation of the Women’s Networks. In 2008, she joined Marriott International as Chief Audit Executive, and worked for 7 years at this Bethesda based hospitality company. Most recently, Denise spent several years developing and running her own swim school; pursuing her passion for swimming and education.

Carl Seabrook is a senior audit and risk management professional with over 15 years of diverse industry experience. Experiences include developing and managing risk-based audit programs; hiring, training, and supervising staff; and evaluating internal controls, policies and procedures for effectiveness. Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the COSO framework and a passion for educating clients on how to effectively mitigate key risks. Expert in analyzing risks and controls to identify solutions to remediate process weaknesses and identify opportunities to improve overall process efficiency. Recognized for his leadership and problem-solving skills, he is a key contributor in all capacities served.

Sarah Goff is a Manager of Product Solutions in AuditBoard’s dedicated Financial Services group. Here she works with clients to understand their environment and challenges, and how to optimize their use of technology. Prior to AuditBoard, Sarah worked at Deloitte for over five years in the Risk Advisory practice where she advised her clients on their internal audit and risk management activities. There she had the opportunity to work with some of the largest banking and insurance companies globally. She started her career with ExxonMobil where she spent four years in their Finance function. Along with an honors degree in Commerce, Sarah obtained a Masters of Business Administration and holds a CPA designation.
